Road Trip!!!
or
Getting Settled in our new (vacation) home away from home
or
Why won't my children sleep???
or
When will they stop putting everything in their mouths???
or
AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
We three are on vacation in Washington DC (visiting auntie 'chel)!!
We three have been learning the hard and fast way how to travel together...it's interesting.
So far, I've learned that Pack-n-Plays are my new favorite baby item;
my children won't sleep on an air mattress any more because it's way to
fun to fall/jump/scoot/crawl/face plant off the edge and search the room.
That one can never have too many pacifiers; I brought eight
and can't even find one most of the time. Clipping them on ceased
to work when they figured out how to unclip them about 4 months ago.
And the new game is to drop them everywhere and then cry to see how long it will take
to have you pick it up and return it to their little mouths.
And lastly if your kids aren't used to being in the car, they WON'T/DON'T necessarily
enjoy the NEW experience!!! It seems as though there are never enough
snacks or water or access to the mommy while in the car. Toys end up just out of reach
and too much sun/street light/headlights in their eyes/face to snooze.
-sigh-
even though we're feeling a little challenged, we ARE having a lovely time visiting with cousin Mia and auntie 'chel.
And I'm psyched to spend some time at the pool and being touristy (in a baby friendly way)!

Summertime!
We finally got the AC in the window up front today!!
yeah! (it's safe to visit!) Cool kitchen and living room!!!
Finally I can blog (feed the babies, myself, sit, play)without sweating :)
and good thing, because it's a million and one degrees in
here when it's not so bad outside. Ahhh summertime.
Well, it is warm outside, but the heatwave a few weeks back
makes this weather in the high high 80s seem very temperate.
I know they always look so BIG in the photos,
but come on, check out steven's hand on pescha's head...
they're still so teeny weeny.
We had a very lovely lazy afternoon on the blanket (and in the grass)
at the park.
And a very lovely visit from Charlotte and Liza!
