Day 10: cooling off

Day 9: filled with old friends and new friends

and back to our favorite little playground

i must want it all, because it's also the 2nd day in a row of skipped
nap time....booo hoooo.

Day 8: sigh.

no pictures, yet.
it's really quite warm for June.
we went to another big playground
and again, no interest in the sprinklers.
hmm.
guess we'll stay local from now on.

who wants to take us to the beach?

Party in the Garden and pool too!

Day 7: not bad.

maybe we're hitting our stride
maybe it was all the friends at the playground today
maybe it was cooler weather and the sprinklers being on

Day 6: too hot.

I didn't think we were going to have a good day.
We actually got out of the house, got to the playground,
after stopping for shampoo and lightbulbs at the drug store
only to find a photoshoot with generator and NO sprinklers.
The air temperature at 8:30 am was already close to 90 degrees,
I was turning red and was super sweaty.
wahhhhh!
We turned around and took the extra 1 mile walk to the other
playground (with a pit stop at the diner, for air conditioning and
ice water and egg sandwiches) only to find that the
water wasn't on there either....sigh.
We sat down in the shade, re-applied sunscreen and voila!
sprinklers. Too bad my girls are afraid of the Big Sprinklers
and wouldn't go in. booh.

Tomorrow should be better, right?
